Neil Singer
A five-time Master CFI, Neil Singer is a corporate pilot, designated pilot examiner and instructor in Phenoms and Citations with over 11,000 hours of flight time and 25 years of experience as an active instructor. He is a regular contributor to the "Mentor Matters" ongoing series in AOPA Turbine Pilot magazine and has been published in IFR, Contrails and Twin and Turbine. He regularly speaks at Embraer and Citation type clubs’ annual meetings and serves as the Citation Jet Pilots Safety and Education Foundations safety consultant.
Qualifications: • Airline Transport Pilot: Single/ Multi/ Sea/ Tailwheel/ Glider Ratings • Master CFI; Gold Seal Flight Instructor: Single and Multiengine, Instrument • FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) o PVT through ATP, Single/ Multi o Phenom 100/ 300 and CE-525 Type Ratings and Proficiency Checks • Type rated in: o Embraer Phenom 100 o Embraer Phenom 300 o CE-500 (Citation I, II, V families) o CE-510S (Mustang) o CE-525S (CJ1-CJ4, M2) o Challenger 300 o Gulfstream G-VII (G500/G600) o Gulfstream G-VIII (G700/G800) • 11,000+ Hours of Flight Experience in over 100 Aircraft Types
Work Experience: • Flight instructor in part 61 and 141 schools, including check airman duties • Instructional and flight experience in Canada, Europe, Hawaii, and the Caribbean (endorsed for St. Barth’s and Les Saintes). Over three dozen North Atlantic crossings in jet aircraft. • Air ambulance and on demand charter pilot in turbine aircraft • 4.5 years with the largest regional airline in the world, flying Saab Turboprops and Embraer Regional Jets from the Bahamas to Canada, Texas to Maine, including the busiest airports in the country (ORD, DFW, JFK, LGA, DCA, BOS…)
